3D Popeye

In my childhood, I like watching animated cartoon. Popeye is my beloved one. Popeye likes eating spinach which can endow him infinite power; and then he can beat any evildoer with his strong body.

It is reported that 3d Popeye will be released. It's exciting news to me-a 3d animation /3d visualization and Popeye lover.

I remember the first time when Popeye appeared on screen is in 1980.  Director Robert Ferdinand had ever directed a live-action version "Popeye" movie and comedy star robin Williams played the leading role. But the film was undesirable as expected. Maybe the animated cartoon impressed people deeply. Perhaps director learned the lessons of the film, this time 3d animated Popeye is shot. Up to now, the plots of 3d Popeye is still secret. But we have known that Popeye's girlfriend Olive, his sworn enemy Pluto and his adopted Swee'pea will be presented in screen.

I'm expecting 3d Popeye.

Bad Effect of 3D Film

These years 3D film becomes more and more popular. Many people are more willing to go to theatre to see stunning 3d film, rather than on TV at home.

Yes, we have to admit the glamour of 3d film. Watching 3d film is just like you are a role of it.

Here I want to remind that when enjoying 3d effect, we should know the bad effects 3d film brings to us.

One of my friends asked me that when she saw Avatar, her eyes was uncomfortable and wept continually. What's wrong? Does anybody have the same feeling with me? Researchers from USA did experiments in two offices and came to a same conclusion: 3D film makes brains converge and the adjustments are different. So, many people may be tired, uncomfortable, eyes intense, headache and so on. 3D stuns for disease got the name so.

Even though 3d film has such shortcoming, we cannot resist its temptation. With the rapid development of 3d technology and in order to better serve audience, I’m sure 3d industry can conquer the bad influence.

Our company has made several 3d animations, including 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games Mascot Animation. They are perfect. Because they are very short, not as long as a film, so I haven't felt dizzy. 3D is a bright field, no matter 3d film or 3d animation or 3d rendering. Hope 3D technology becomes more and more advanced.

About Rise of the Planet of the Apes

Yesterday I watched the film-Rise of the Planet of the Apes. When it ends, I consider it as the most attractive European and American film resolutely. It is perfect no matter from its story or from CG technology. I can't help watching the film again. Before it, I watched Conquest of the Planet of the Apes. Up to now, I still remember the words "Tonight, we have seen the birth of the Planet of the Apes!” In the "Rise of the Planet of the Apes", I'm deeply moved by the last words of the film "Caesar's home". Caesar never plans to attack human, he just wants to create a home for his companion.

Let's recall the story again: Human kept researching a kind of potion 112 which could help recover nerve. They performed experiments on apes. An ape named Bright Eyes seemed mad to attack human in order to protect her unborn baby. At last, she was shot to die, as well as the other 12 apes. Bright Eyes' baby was lucky to be raised by Will and named Caesar. Little Caesar becomed smarter day by day. When he saw Will's father being beaten, he rushed to help him. Afterwards, he was foced to go to penitentiary where he was treated badly. At last he escaped by his wisdom, rescued other apes and formed his team. When he organized his team to go to red forest, they were attacked by human. But Caesar tried to not to hurt human. They went home finally. How nice the apes are. Hopefully human can restrain their ambition.

The action and expressions of apes in the film are really true. They are like real apes. The technology is so advanced. Our Frontop Company is still engaged in the CG field and should work harder to improve technology, although Frontop has made some achievements on 3d renderings, 3d animation, virtual reality, etc.

3D Titanic Trailer Release

On Oct. 11th, 2011, Mr. Cameron, the director, held 3 D "Titanic" trailer world debut in the AMC Empire Cinema at times square.
Reporters came to the release conference with questions like why Titanic? Why 3D? Mr. Cameron told reporters his real thought: 3D effect is his biggest motivation to redisplay Titanic on big screen. No matter what standard to judge it, the Titanic is the timeless classic in human movie history. Mr. Cameron knew that what he does must be movies arousing resonation. Modern technology opens an inspiring and exciting new world for film producer like Cameron. He advocates telling kinds of stories by the stupendous methods. He believes that in future every film will be produced with 3D effect.
Reporters asked "Which direction will the 3D virtual reality technology be apt to develop?” He pointed that movie is a medium telling stories, if we can use virtual reality to express, that will be better. Because interactive feeling will be stronger.
Reporters haven't seen the whole movie, but the 17 min prevue is still expecting. Let's hope that 3D technology like 3d rendering (architectural rendering/architectural visualization), 3d animation (architectural animation), 3d floor plan, etc. will better develop.
